Leap of Faith

Hello everyone! Wait, since I have no followers yet, I suppose I'm just talking to myself at the moment. Anyway, I'll tell random strangers that happen to find this page a little bit about myself. I am 22. I have been going to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX since fall of 2007. I have been doing beadwork for almost nine years. Oh, and I just quit my job to pursue my dreams full time! Enough info? Thought so. That picture, yeah.....me three years ago. I'm too lazy to go hunting for another one where I'm actually looking at the camera. I tend to like poses of me with my profile. Sorry. I promise I don't look much different today. Really.

Because I created this blog as a way to promote my beadwork, I suppose I should show you something I've made.....well, how's this black and silver embroidered necklace? I call it Strength in Circles. To me it looks like a muscle man. This collar is one of my older pieces, but still fairly impressive. It was my first or second large scale necklace if I remember correctly. I think I was around 17 or 18 when I made it. I figured I'd start this blog off with something old school. Come back and check on my progress as I work towards a more unified style and a higher degree of confidence in my skills!
I'm taking a leap of faith by pursuing this full time, wish me the best?
